|Ms Vivianne Cuq Maggi, Adventure Tourism Expert. Quasar Chile General Manager.|
One of the owners and founders of ChileMontaña, an Adventure Tourism Company based in Santiago de Chile, Vivianne is today an expert in expedition planning and operation.
Her knowledge in the matter comes from years of creating, planning and executing sportive and commercial expeditions, and many times leading them as well.
Among other achievements she was the first Latin American woman to participate in the UIAA Sports Climb World Cup. She organized and led the first South American female expedition to the Himalayas
(Cho Oyu 8,201m) in 1999. In 2001 she organized and successfully led the first female Latin American expedition to Mt. Everest.
She is a veterinary doctor who fell in love with the mountains and decided to dedicate her life to this passion and those things she enjoys most: mountaineering, climbing, skiing, paragliding and horseback riding.
Over the last decade, Vivianne has spent part of her time conferencing and working in tourism development in rural areas of Chile, but her main activity remains the same: Adventure Tourism Expeditions
She will be happy to help you to discover the Atacama and its skies and enjoy the pristine nature of the Desert and the High Plateus.
